Well, it’s a marvelous night for a Moondance, with the stars up above in your eyes.
A fantabulous night to make romance
, ‘neath the cover of October skies.
And all the leaves on the trees are falling, to the sound of the breezes that blow.
And I’m trying to please to the calling, of your heart-strings that play soft and low.
And all the night’s magic seems to whisper and hush,
and all the soft moonlight seems to shine in your blush. (Van Morrison, Moondance)

My husband and I started our romance one full moon night in October, many years ago.  On our walk tonight we saw the almost full moon trying to peek down upon us through the clouds, and remembered the youth and innocence of those bygone days.  And while I wouldn’t mind having my youth and innocence back, I wouldn’t trade a single happy memory the two of us have created.  Happy October to all!

You almost made me cry. Between the picture posted and the image of two young love birds, I feel like I’m there.

beautiful! it seems so sweet to have a moonlit walk with your hubby. that’s what’s nice about sharing years together, you both are apart of one another’s memories as well as sharing the present days together. there is something incredibly special about that togetherness between husband and wife. thanks for sharing your moonlit walk…

have a wonderful weekend. oh, and yes, happy october!

Did you take that photo? Beautiful moon. I’d say its time to watch Moonstruck! Happy October to you, too.
